Southern Utah Driving School (S.U.D.S)
offers two different driver education programs that both meet all of the requirements set forth by the state of Utah; the traditional 9-day classroom course and the home study course. The minimum age for registration in any S.U.D.S. driver education course is 15 years  of age. Either course will qualify and prepare a student to take the Utah Department of Motor Vehicle Driver License Division written and driving tests. Each program offers flexible time schedules to accommodate individual needs. S.U.D.S. offers a complete curriculum for both the English and Spanish-speaking communities.
  9-day Classroom Course

S.U.D.S. offers the traditional 9-day classroom course with a professional driving instructor on a daily basis. Classroom instruction includes teacher lectures, video and PowerPoint instruction, and a variety of learning activities. Classes are held two times a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. "Open enrollment" allows a student to begin on virtually any lesson so there is no waiting time for enrollment. "Open exit" gives the student the flexibility to either attend nine consecutive classroom sessions or to attend class when they can, for a more tailor-made experience.

Home Study Course

S.U.D.S. offers a home study program in partnership with Southern Utah University. This exciting program allows the student the convenience of completing their driver education in the comfort of their own home at a pace they choose. Students may finish the written portion of driver education in as little as 30 hours. This course is also offerred as "open enrollment." This home study program has been extremely successful in turning out some of the best teenage drivers in Southern Utah.

No matter what your driver education needs may be, S.U.D.S. has the program to make you a
"squeaky clean driver."
